Melanie McQuaid, Four Time World Champion Triathalete

Melanie McQuaid is the first person to have won the XTERRA Triathlon World Championships three times and in 2011 won the inaugural ITU Cross Triathlon title in Extremedura, Spain..  Along with these offroad triathlon World Championships titles, Melanie has represented Canada as part of the national team at 7 UCI World Championship Cycling events, 6x for mountain bike cross country and in 2000 for road racing. 

While still competing full time as a professional triathlete, Melanie is offering some limited coaching opportunities through her website and locally through Catalyst’s Spin City.  With 16 years of professional racing both in cycling and in triathlon, Melanie can offer a fun, specific and challenging fitness class for any level of athlete.  Drop in to one of her classes to try it.
